At an early age I embraced the magic of photography.

I'd dream of the places my cameras would take me and soon discovered freezing a moment in time truly was magical.  I studied the technical aspects of the craft, the physics of the optics, the reaction to the media when the films and papers were introduced to water and chemistry.  My goal was to make the procedure as easy as tying my shoes.  I learned it was way more than that.

I analyzed the images crafted by great photographers and soaked in the emotions they caused in my inner self and the pain I would experience viewing an image of human injustice, or the joy in the eyes of a child taking those first steps.
